I still think they were wrong. They should have had living people lay themselves down so the backhoe could drive over them and protect the ground or even better they could use the corpses of the recently deceased.

I worked for a cemetery as a kid cutting grass around the stones and when I got stuck or sunk into the ground of a fairly fresh grave and had to be pulled out I never once got a complaint from anyone residing in that cemetery.

I visited Cheltenham on Saturday to say hello to my grandpa and a friend. It was clean, well taken care of, and all the head stones that I saw were cleared of grass/weeds. The lawn was trimmed nicely. Kudos for the great job they do!

Here's another option. No need for a fancy casket of metal or wood. Don't have to generate heat for a cremation. I'm sure the crabs and lobster appreciate the gesture.

The backhoe is too dayum big for the job and shouldn't have been used to begin with. There are smaller versions that would fit into the cemetary without disturbing the graves and still get the job done. Used to work in a cemetary when I was a kid.
