Good suggestion, I was going to suggest a .22 mag or maybe even a .220 swift round.

.223 or .243 would also be a good choice if the other 2 are in short supply.

Too much club. A friend swears by .17HMR. Your mileage may vary.

We found a groundhog with his head stuck in a chain link fence in our backyard. Yes, the very tiny openings. I don't know how he got there but he must have been hauling azz to get stuck in there. I'm not sure how long he had been there but he was barely breathing when we found him. He didn't even put up a fight when hubby pulled him out of the fence. He had me take him to the woods and toss him. Hubby put him in a bag in the trunk of his car and I had to drive him. All I could think about was that scene in Tommy Boy when they put the "dead" deer in the back seat and that sucker came too, :killingme. I was a nervous wreck opening the trunk.:lmao:
