What about the tranny? Is there a transfer case? Where did the tracks come from? Steering? Brakes? How did you get the turret to rotate? How does the barrel elevate? Did he build the breech block? Is it threaded? Is it s smooth bore or rifled at all? Is it tin? Wood?

I went to a few events locally that had Remote Control scale tank wars. These guys made everything for them. I used to have some pics somewhere. I think they had a website rcbattletank.com or something like that.

I actually watched the video. The barrel is a piece of pipe so I wouldn't think it's rifled. The outside is made of wood. It's breech loaded but the kid didn't say how he put it together. He had alot of problems with the treads, getting them to stay on.

I thought the kid was pretty ingenious. He has an intern job for a company that manufactures......

1/5 Scale Sherman Tank, all the info to build it

The track is modeled after the T-41 track used on the Shermans late in the war. (Okay, it's actually modeled after my watch band, but don't tell anyone.)
