Harley Davidson or CSM??

That was what I thought, last year when I called they didn't have anything for 6 months.
Waiting for lady to call me back now

Are these classes only done in LaPlata? The website doesn't say if tey do them in Leonardtown..

They are done in LaPlata off of Radio Station road where they do the CDL course across from Laural Springs ball park.

Problem with the base course for new riders is that you have to supply your own bike. I was happy with the CSM course and the CSM course also got me on base since they just look at your MSF card which is the same no matter where you take the course.

The CSM course is fine. HD provides no other benefit.

If you ever want to be an MSF instructor the advanced course is free and you will get some pay for your time as an instructor.

I took the CSM course and liked it. If you can get in in two weeks, jump on it. Tomorrow it could be filled up. The spots go fast!

Last I checked the CSM course was a 17 hour course and the HD Riders Edge course is 25 hours (more time on the bikes). Some dealers will give you a discount on an HD if you buy one within x-amount of time after the course (Annapolis does not do this).

As a matter of fact, I bought my son a spot in the Annapolis HD course for his H.S. grad gift. He did the first two nights of classroom Mon & Tues. Right now he is out at Tipton airport where they have their course laid out, riding.

The Buell 500 is closer in power and size to the Magna 700 I bought for him than the Rebel 250. The 250 is closer to his little sisters yamaha 50.

Doesn't matter where you go, only matters you learn and practice. Always ride safe.
