I remember when growing up, DNR denied that MD has resident black bears living in WMd. The department line was they were transient bears, moving between PA and WV.

That has a negative sound to it. Insensitive.

They should use instead: Bear of Color with No Fixed Address.

Tattoos and clipped ears? Intentionally placed? Doubt it. DNR has placed cameras in Calvert Cliffs State Park to monitor any presence or progression of coyotes.
