Won't change people's minds. It's what he used to call in formal debate - "attitudinal inherency" - you can't fight how people THINK.
Admittedly, I didn't realize it, until I moved to an area where there were a LOT more black people. When I was in grade school, they had this show on TV called the Cosby Kids - and there was a kid on there called "Nipper" and he wore a Confederate hat - and yeah, he was black. I thought that is so cool, so when I saw one for sale, I bought it.
Wearing it to school - I was confronted by the idea that "Confederates" were the people that hate black people - so I was somehow making a statement. Huh? I thought it was a cool hat. I didn't go through life "making statements" except to wear things I thought were cool.

More then likely Senior prank. Its that time of the year. As for the helicopter it can sometimes fly someone out of Southern Maryland several times a day. If everytime someone see's the helo land and depart and expects to see something posted in the news, it could have been a car accident, could have been a old person who fell with a head injury. There are many reasons for the helo to be flying someone out and its not always a news worthy event. Just saying
Probably them damn Virginians stirring up stuff again, because the flag I see is the battle flag of the Army of Northern Virginia. There were 3 Confederate flags - The Stars and Bars (from 1861 to 1863), then the Stainless Banner (from 1863 to 1865) and then the Blood-Stained Banner (1865)

There's already been too much ink wasted on this story. The JROTC should have just taken the flag down, kept their mouth shut, and raised the American flag like any other morning. But no, I guess we are training them early to be butt hurt about everything so when they do join our new woke military, all will be well.

I was referring to the school that had the unreported state police helo landing.
Okay, my bad. As to the helicopter landing at the school, was that for the hit and run down Piney Point way?
