I agree that it's not so easy to chalk up the thoughts to loneliness. While it can certainly make things worse and make the thoughts appear more often, I think they're still valid thoughts. Heck, I'm sure as heck not lonely, but still think of the 'might have beens' every now and then, even though I'm happy in my current situation and wouldn't change a thing.

Maybe I'm just lucky or just to darn disgutingly happy. The truth, Once you find your Soulmate this all disappears.
When I say this is just lonliness talking, I'm not trying to dismiss you guys... I'm just being a realist.
Do we all make mistakes in relationships? YES! Geez...I'm the mistake Queen. Are the feelings that crop up after you find out an old flame has moved on valid? Not really. If there was love, I mean true love you would have hung on with all of your might when you had the chance.
Soooo.... To make a long story short, all this long distance wondering and worrying is pointless.
My advice: Do some soul searching! Ask yourselves why you don't have enough esteem to get over old mistakes and move on. I hate to say it but it seems like maybe some of you are so afraid of comittment that you choose to live in a fantasy world.
