have you noticed re-homing dogs

ArkRescue

Adopt me please !
I think I am just going to have to give in and take my dad to the shelter. We have a list of "wants" Female, spayed (or will be spayed immediately) between the size of a spaniel and black lab and between 2 and 4 years old. So kind of specific but not exact. I am just worried I will meet someone and fall in love. I am just not emotionally ready for another dog and really like the freedom with traveling.

I'm sure if you stop by the Humane Society and Tri-County you will find a dog that feels right for you. Yes freedom to travel, however, you can always have someone look after her, or you can board her. Heck depending on where you live, I bet we could round up an excellent dog-sitter for you that will be great for the dog, and you can continue to travel. There is nothing like having a joyful dog with a wagging tail to greet you when you get home . AND you will literally be saving a life.

There are some days I'd like to take my mom to the shelter so I do understand.

That's exactly what I did with my ex. I dumped him off at the shelter so he could hang out and bang whichever biatch he felt like. It didn't last a day before they called begging me to take back "Sir Hump A Lot"

So I just tied in up to a tree in the back yard and when I'm feeling generous I'll have the kids chuck some water and kibble at him.

Lol my dad is the one wanting a dog but he is disabled and no longer drives so I get to take him every where he needs (wants) to go. My family has been working on me long enough I think I am starting to crack and am worried I will end up with a dog for myself also.

We've got 2 dogs; so far, anyplace we've gone, we've been able to find pet friendly hotels. I guess that wouldnt work on a cruise.

There are a lot of lonely older women who would probably be delighted to take your dad off your hands; don't put him in a shelter.
