Good deal. I hope your good results continue, and that the process you have endured can be an impetus for others undergoing the same ordeal. Hopefully the doctors and specialists can use your case to come up with more improved drugs and treatments.

Thanks, big thing about my case, all treatments were thoroughly conventional.

I tried to prep for the surgery by walking a lot and eating healthy, continued that after.
I have also refused to be the illness.

Good attitude, and it is what I have adopted as well. I'm dealing with my own failing heart issues - advanced cardiomyopathy. I'm doing what I should be doing, and am really hoping to avoid a heart transplant, but that is on the table. Right now, I prefer to trade for quality of life (medication that seems to be holding things steady) vs quantity of life. I'll sacrifice some time for a reasonable quality with my adult kids and young grand kids, for sure. We'll see what the fairly near future holds for sure.

Keep on keeping on with your good results.

Talk about a good attitude! You are awesomely awesome, as well! What a nice post to spr when you are dealing with a life threatening condition, yourself. Wishing you the best. :yay: :yahoo: :thewave::getdown::smile::huggy:

Keep it going! :thewave:  :huggy:

Love you and thank you! :huggy: :smooch: I didn't come into this world with a barcode on me; I have my heels dug in!

I admire your/y’all’s courage and, a willingness to share with the forum. Go, y’all! There is a lot to be learned here; especially about just living. Politics and all the crapola be darned; not important in the scheme of things.

I can sympathize with the heart condition, have had a pacemaker since April 2008.

I thank you for your words of encouragement, Here's to a Good Life for both of us, regardless of Quantity.

Today is the 2nd anniversary of my 1st day post-chemo.

I've had a pace maker/defibullator since July 2015. I'm "Robo Pop Pop" to my grand kids, and I like that name.

Merry Christmas, and many more!

We are brothers under the skin then, have had a twin lead pacemaker since April 2008.

61 years old today, an anniversary, which was in doubt a little under 3 years ago.
No recurrence of disease thus far. 3rd anniversary of the surgery will be on 2 June.

Greetings!

3rd anniversary of the pancreatic cancer diagnosis was on the 14th.
Had a CT scan and blood work to check kidney function on the 16th.

Results are no recurrence or metastasis detected, internal organs look normal (as normal as post major surgery and losing bits, looks).
Blood test shows normal kidney function.

Looks like I have a good chance of being around a while longer.
