Indeed. Glad he didn't take out anyone else or the wooden pole beside the metal one. He did break the curb though.

I do agree that the car deserves post-mortem kudos. In something that small and light, any impact has high potential for hurting the occupant(s). A lot of people don't pay a lot of attention to safety improvements in autos and trucks, but this little car did a great job of performing beyond what most of us would expect, at the time when it counted the most.

I'm not sure how unique it is, besides they have million color wireless LED underbody kits out there so there is a chance the person of interest has changed that unique color or maybe just turned it off since he now knows someone might be looking for him.

I was thinking the same thing. But good luck proving he was there and racing when that jackass lost control and struck the pole. Wish all these idiots would grow up and stop putting innocent people's lives at risk.

Yes, they met with police a few days ago. I doubt there will be any charges.

The press releases are all on their website St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office - Homepage and FB page. However, they are rarely up before Danzig gets them up there. Oh and they do not post the mugshots on their page.
