Soooo...the way I understand it -@TPD, owner of Ridge Hardware, is being targeted for (among other things) his failure to have a sign (requiring people to just wear the damn mask) on his front door?
Hmmmm. Here's what the front door of Ridge Hardware looked like Saturday 12/12/20: (arrows pointing out his signage)
Conversely, here's what the door of the St. Mary's County Health Department looked like today at the time of the rally...
Where is their signage requiring people to just wear the damn mask upon entry?
HOW can the Health Department send the police to threaten a local small business owner - basically at gunpoint - with fines and jail time for "non compliance" for a sign?
Clearly, he has a signage (two) and yet, i see no sign visible on the St. Mary's County Health Department door.
I think Dr. Brewster has some 'splainin' to do.

Just saw this guy this morning on F & F. It's crazy. I also just heard that small business owners/restaurants & bars across the country in various states are rising up to NOT SHUT DOWN. That is the only way anything is going to change.
The petty little public functionaries are giddy with excitement over their newfound police powers...the power to arbitrarily and totally ruin the lives of so many people.
main take away: pay close attention. You are witnessing exactly the why and how so many people helped get those millions on the trains. That should no longer puzzle anyone.

Back in March, I was willing to give a benefit of the doubt to the government officials. I now feel I lingered and erred too long on that side.
Not anymore.

So Ridge Hardware is still closed? I guess my Christmas present will be very late this year.
The owner has not knelt and kissed Brewster's ring yet.

I go in about once a week, maybe week and a half and I can say those signs have been up for a while. Cant pin down the date, but it would have been immediately after TPD posted about implementing these measures. The notion that he's taking them down when the inspectors are not there is stupid. I'm no inspector and I've never seen them not there.
Is there a need for signs at the health department? I'm pretty sure that they already closed to the public and only do in-person business via appointment, otherwise you have to call or email them.Where is their signage requiring people to just wear the damn mask upon entry?

Same with us. We go in pretty routinely, and we've NEVER not seen the signs.
cash CowI beg to differ with your point of view, Mitzi. It may not seem menacing or threatening, but if a family member of MINE was shooting off their mouth about something I was doing in the professional capacity of my job, on a public forum/social media, I'd be p*ssed.
The public has a right to question the motives of a public servant, and the family members getting involved is completely inappropriate.
It would be like Sheriff Cameron's wife getting on social media and posting crap like "oh yeah - well, MY husband does
