Everything in moderation! Whatever you do Jayden, do NOT starve yourself. Eat reasonably and get in the habit of exercising.

If you haven't had a regular exercise regime for the past year start off twice a week (try monday/thursday or similar timing) with some basic stuff like squats with no weight, jumping jacks pushups from the knees and a few crunches. Do just enough to break a sweat then STOP. The goal isn't to make yourself sore the next day. The goal is to make exercise a habit, an ENJOYABLE habit! Keep that up for a month then add an extra day. Then start adding more time to the workout.

It's much easier with a partner so get your kids involved or another stay at home mom in the neighborhood if you can. If not, buckle down and do it yourself!

That occurs when there is long term starvation. They don't take in much by way of nourishment at all and it is long term... months and months... years and years of not eating. Dieters who go into "starvation mode" tend to only last long enough to slow the metabolism which requires less calories... :viciouscycle: :shrug:
