This intersection is crazy. There have been so many accidents there lately. I also have seen several "almost" accidents too.

This says nothing about road design, and everything about poor drivers. We train drivers to the lowest possible standards, never enforce safety, and expect good driving. Looks like insanity to me. The intersection isnt crazy, we are for accepting both driver training that is a joke, and enforcement that focuses on the wrong thing.

Oh, and Dee, tennies become shower shoes real fast under friction.

There are levels of insanity from simple craziness to somewhere beyond comprehension into absolute maddness.

This is somewhere in that further reach;

Granted he didn't "walk away" but he did survive, could walk, talk and even feed himself still .. after a little bit of rehab.

One day you will say something that is somewhat intelligent and then you spew something like these; You act like a dick at times

That's true, but this isn't one of those times. :lol:
An experienced rider dresses for the crash and gets trained to prevent one.

Whatever happened to that great quote I learned the hard way:
"There are two kind of bikers: Those that have gone down, those who are going down".

Amazing what pain does to your perception of fashion.

His impact injuries would most likely be lessened, and his abrasion injuries non-existent, were he geared up. Incident, agreed, not his fault. But he is responsible for not taking precautions for such an eventuality. Like a driver who doesn't wear a seatbelt, or disables the airbags, they bear some responsibility for the outcome.

Just reading some local news here and came across this article, wow! The driver of the car was very lucky.

When I was 19, I was in a motorcycle accident and broke my femur. Not pretty. When I was in physical therapy I met a women in physical therapy that was recovering from a car/motorcycle accident. Unlike the accident linked here, the motorcyclist when through her windshield and right in to her lap with her body taking much of the blow. The motorcyclist was kill on the impact against her car. She was having a pretty rough time recovering and with the horror of the accident itself.

At times? He is a total dick and ####### all the time, I think he deserves to get hit. But unlike this tragic accident, I hope #######pieceof#### aka aps will not survive his. Just because this guy didn't have the right protective gear on does not mean that you should down grade him and bad talk him. I am sure he has loved ones, and a family like the rest of us. If he wants to ride the way he wants then so be it, it doesn't give you the right to come sit behind a keyboard and talk #### about something you have no idea of what you're even talking about. Then again, you're a pathetic loser with no life. Prick

It's always appreciated around here when the idiots "out" themselves. Saves us all time.

A smart rider wears protective gear because there are dipwads who can't tell the right of way from a headband.
