Hey Smokers....

This should be common sense, but please don't throw your butts out the window. It is very dry out and fires can easily be started (as we've seen by the brush fire thread, and several field fires in our area). There's a reason your cars have ash trays! :howdy:

why would they want to dirty them though and have the car smell like stale cigarettes?

I agree with Cowgirl, this should be common since after months without rain. Lets work together on this one! :howdy:

If you smoke in the car, it smells like stale cigarettes anyway, so don't use that argument! :wench:

:yay: I've never seen it this dry. Walking on my grass feels like little needles from being so dry and brittle.

My car doesn't have one. Apparently I didn't get the "smokers package" But....before you blast me, I did go to Walmart and bought a little "butt bucket" fits right into one of my 5 cup holders (guess I got the "drinkers package" instead :lmao: ) and doesn't smell like an ash tray does.

My car doesn't have an ashtray and a smoker's package isn't an option. Yes, smoking in a car makes it smell like a smoker's car, however, leaving old cigarette butts in your car makes it smell much worse. So.... I don't want to leave them in my car...yet I don't want to start fires.....

I know! I will spit on them before I throw them out the window! :yay:

...this was the home of my best friends grandmother when she was growing up. She passed back in 96 or so and it's no longer in the family, but, makes the point.

So put them out in the ashtray, and once you get home throw them away. :yay:

Riding in this morning someone without the common sense threw one out the window and it came back and hit me. Guess he figured I'd put it out for him.

Oh come on... don't you think it's more fun to start fires?

Here's an idea if you don't want to leave butts in your car... take a pop can, put some water in it, put your butts in there, throw it away when you get home.

Next time stop and pick up the butt, catch up to the guy and flip it in his window. (Or just have a few old butts on hand). Be sure to have your escape route planned. :lmao:
