I love to see a V-22 as it passes by !
I think to myself, Thank God it didn't fall on me ! :killingme

:killingme

Unfortunately, seeing a plane crash relatively clearly is a reoccuring nightmare that I have and wake up in a cold sweat shaking from. not fun to hear the same sound in real life and know you're not asleep.

True, but we usually find things out around here much quicker!
:yay:

I get them flying over my house all the time and sometimes it feels like they're going to crash right into me. Choppers, planes - I love the sound of them so I'm glad to live under the flight path.

I love the sound of all of them, but I have to admit I am partial to the sound of the Herk's engines.......bou-jjje

I lived under the flight path for North Island. Vikings on approach are the coolest sound there is.

Did anyone else hear/see/feel that military aircraft go over? It scared the CRAP out of me it was SO low! They aren't allowed to fly that low at this time are they? Any ideas what's going on?

I used to live with the flightline in our backyard in Hawaii- who ever thought I'd miss THAT! Sounds exciting to me! :patriot: It was like having our own personal air show everyday. Hubby laughs at me because I can name so many planes now just by the sound they make. :lmao:

Ya know, I honestly like the sound of planes, helicopters, jets and artillery...however, I rarely hear any of it where I live in Compton. Last night I heard that plane too and I was worried. It was so close it rattled my windows and made a couple pictures fall and knocked over my water. These things never happen. I sometimes see a plane from the St. Mary's airport, nothing else. :ohwell: I actually thought we must be under attack somewhere.
