I drink 2 gallons of sweet tea a week and this is exactly how I make it.
They clean up better than what a heavy coffee drinker suffers.Good God, I can only imagine what that does to your teeth!![]()
Do you know how much farther one can extend their tongue when the teef ain't in the way? He's a WV mountain man now... he ain't gots no teefs.
Good point.Yeah, but what shape are they in?
I know four children who had to have baby teeth pulled because their mom put sweet tea in their bottle. Rotted their teeth out in no time and I'm pretty sure their teeth were brushed daily at least once.
Don't mind me, I'm just an anti-sweet tea advocate. The thought of sugar in my tea makes me cringe and I grew up on the super sweet concentrated stuff (with plenty of dental fillings to prove it)!![]()
I hope everyone realizes that adding Splenda or some other sugar substitute is FAR worse for you than adding regular sugar or honey. You are better off having the white sugar or even better just honey, versus all the pure chemicals in sugar substitutes. Forget about what drinking gallons of tea a day is doing to you.....it's the chemicals in the sugar substitutes that I would be more concerned about.

I do mine in the microwave~
4 family size tea bags in a 4 c. glass measuring bowl for 4 minutes; let it steep for 2-3 minutes.
Pour it over sugar (I use 1 c). Add water.
Makes 1 gallon
Perfect sweet tea every time.
The Parent probably put the Tea in the kids night-time bottle, and let the kid sleep with it. Laziness I'm sure.Yeah, but what shape are they in?

Doesn't iced tea have caffeine in it? I'd stick a needle in my eye before I'd give a child caffeine.

Most fruit teas don't have caffeine and also a lot of regular teas have non-caffeinated versions. Most of the time I made tea is a combo of a couple of fruit tea bags and a couple of regular tea bags. For regular tea, my favorite is Luzianne. Lipton to me is too bitter.
I have an iced tea machine but rarely use it. I think the flavor is better when you make sun tea.![]()
Ok good. Those midgets are hopped up enough on life as it is, the idea of them with a lot of caffeine scares me.

Good point.I've only every had one cavity in my life, Bubba has one in his baby tooth, and I'm not sure about Bob.
I have to take Bubba to the dentist tomorrow morning. He injured his tooth yesterday morning by chomping down on a piece of crispy thick bacon. He won't let me near enough to see if it is cracked, or what else may be going on with it.
I'll be damned if I'm giving up bacon in my house, though.
PORK FAT RULES!!!![]()
Cool story, bro
