6 and a half years, and we both come from broken homes. But our parents are all happily remarried to spouses that are better suited for them, so there is a lesson in that.

Just finished reading the wedding cost survey and the stats on how long marriages are lasting and wondered how long people here have been married. My wife and I will be at 24 years in May, how about the rest of you?

I was married the longest of all we kids. No one else made 10 years. My parents were married just under 63 years when my mom passed.

For hubby and I -- dated for 6 years, celebrated our 30th anniversary this past October. Wedding cost total - about $400.
