How many of you live in St. Mary's and commute to D.C.?

i have no idea what this site even offers. i just assumed that there would be groups in here. i haven't searched around yet. i just wish that people would mine their own business in here. i personally don't think that it's any of your business if i created an id for my son. excuse the hell out of me for being a proud and happy mommy

1) why not just use your regular ID and say "HI, I'm Jane; I have a 3 month old son ..." vs. create a new one for him?

2) do what tigger did; put "John's Mommy" as your title under your username.

Oakville to Appyappolis oops....Annapolis

ROTTEN commute this am. I tried the Croom road to hughsville backroad this week...way...too twisty-turny....but liked NO lights...

I once commuted from Waldorf to N.E., D.C, but I now commute to Fairfax. If I'm not out of the house by 5:30, traffic will be a b!tch. However, I absolutely LOVE my job.

What other kind of perk is there? If you have to pay for it, it's NOT a perk.
We don't have to pay for it. However, there are several stores inside the building where you can purchase it from. We have free ice machines, 4 underground parking garages, on-site nurse & doctor, a restaurant (but of course you have to pay) dry cleaning, photolab...want me to go on?

This is why if I stay at my current job, I want to work more at our customer site. I like my current office because of the window and all (although they moved me so I no longer have a mountain view :tantrum:) but the customer site is fully self contained as well.

Bad thing about there, only upper management (normally military/government) people have windows. I'm not sure I could handle not seeing outside all day

Well, I'm moving to Lusby from Deale and my commute to Alexandria will be pretty far. But I only work in Alex - my family will spend their time in a great place. That's what counts.

Welcome to my world. Sometimes I feel like a mushroom. I never get outside, never see a window. The worst thing about not smoking anymore is the lack of "SMOKEBREAK" time to spend outside.

I'm thinking about a "fresh air" break. No window in my cubicle either...
