Was out sailing on the Patuxent, just after the first round went through. Thankfully, we got off the water before round two.

I always thought boat dudes were weather-aware...

They are, they simply chose to sail through that crap anyway. It's been a few years since I participated in a Wed. night race, but we ignored tornado warnings several times that I remember.

Normal practice to drop all sails and start the motor as soon as a squall line is spotted. The timing worked out just right Wednesday evening. Safety first!!!
