That cat is wearing an GULF ARAB kafiyeh, and if you knew jack about the Mid East (uh, Iran/ Iraq War- remember that?) you'd know that Arabs and Persians have been fighting each other for over a millenia. In fact, friend of mine sent back pictures from Iraq of the inside of one of Saddam's old palaces that had inscriptions all over the walls cursing the $%#& Persians.

Sorry VM I am not as studied up on Middle Eastern Culture ... and Yes I am aware of Persian and Arab Fighting .... I also believe - please correct me if ai am wrong , I want to have it right - most Persians do not like to be referred to as Iranians ?

The DC/MD/VA area to be more specific. There are more Persians where the population is more concentrated, but there are proportionatly as many down here.
sher= poetry. The expression is the Farsi equivilant of bull****. Call it a bad pun in another language.
Iran= land of the Aryans. The "official" name change from Persia to Iran was only for diplomatic purposes. It had always been Iran in Farsi.
