Actually I think it depends on where you are starting from, I'm already close to 381 so it works for me. And once on 381 we were all flying up 381 doing 80+ this mornin.

Sorry you found it to take longer.

I've been that way a few times, and the only time it's actually been "quicker" is if there's an accident impeding traffic the other/normal route. Otherwise, it's back/country roads that you can't do 65/70 on. :ohwell:
:yeahthat: I'll travel that road (and sometimes through Aquaso/Baden) just for the scenery if it's a warm, sunny day.

CC is right its really not that much quicker then staying on 5 and going around waldorf down Mattawoman.. But I hate sitting in any traffic anymore and would much rather do 50 mph through baden then sit in that damn traffic.. Plus It gives me alot of off chutes if I need to take some extra manuevers to get around all the crap in the morning.

Please tell me where the **** you can get up to 80 plus mph on 381? It's nothing but turns and swerves, Dems. :shocking:

Where the ****? It was at the straight away adajacent to the lake... its not sharp turns and swerves  I was just keeping up with traffic and happy that folks were doing my kind of driving in front of me... There's several areas on 381 where you can do 80 easily.

BTW, I just noticed your Title above your Av... :roflmao:

Northbound Rt. 5 will come out just north of the new Harley Davidson building about where the old train tracks went thru. The old gas station is being torn down for a new Burchmart. At this time where Gallent Green Rd comes out onto 5, there will be a crossover to go south but no stoplight just as it is now. (will be death trap without light, cars will be going faster cause of bypass.) Heading southbound on 5 from Gallent Green you will come to split off to the left the bypass, off to the right old Rt.5. On old Rt 5 you will not be able to go north and get on the bypass where it will come out north of Harley D. Southbound bypass will come out just north of that little old house sitting on the hill by Homeland Dr and merge into the current Rt. 5, Carrico Mill rd will come out where it does now but again like Gallent Green Rd, no stoplight. Current Rt. 5, southbound along by the Chruch and Southend Garage will merge onto the new road just south of Homeland. I see the problem with the bypass is when it gets to the County line. How far will the light at Mohawk Drive backup maybe as far as Carrico Mill Rd. It will help a bit but what they need to do is change that intersection at Mohawk to a intersection like at Laplata Rd (488) it would do away with one light for southbound and then you could start backing up at Oaks and 5. Maybe by the time you get to Rt 5 and 6 traffic would be back to normal like it is now.

Taking Brandywine Road or Aquasco Rd. and Gallent Green Rd to get to Brandywine gets you past the traffic along Rt 301 from county line, but it can take forever if you get behind a local on the 381, those old people wont go over 50mph, and dont let it be raining because if your car was clean before you turned on 381 it wont be after, with all the dump trucks that has to be about one of the dirtiest roads in beautiful Jack Johnson's lovely county. My suggestion make Gallent Green Rd 4 lanes and follow the railroad tracks and come out in the area of Brandywine somewhere, what a great bypass proably save at least 10-15 minutes in commute time.
