Are you waiting for it to hit the local channels? :faint:

:roflmao:

I can't watch movies at the theathers because they do not offered closed captioned for the deaf. I just have to wait until they comes out on DVDs. Target have new movies comes out every Tuesday for sale at $15.99 until Saturday. On Sundays, the movies will sell for $22.00 something.

I thought the effects were sub standard. The dark seekers looked cartoonish. One scene where he's driving in the Mustang looked like a cheap video game.

Omega Man with Charlton Heston was a much better flick than this re-make.
I agree. I enjoyed the movie except for the effects. They could've done a better job; used extras, or something.

The scene where he was driving the red Mustang and it showed the car from the rear, looked like a cheap video game, the animals in Jumanji from '95 looked better than the hunting lions and the dark seekers looked like Saturday morning kid cartoon monsters

The movie reminded me of computer games (Xbox, playstation, etc.).

I do not care for computer games.....

I bet the computer companies will be coming out with "I am Legend" video games.

You're very welcome. This movie is not recommended to be watch with children or around children.

I watch all of my movies after the kids are in bed.

What is it rated, and what age children? My son 12 watched it and it frigtened him enought to sleep on my bedroom floor that night. His bedroom is in the basement. He watched it with my hubby who said it was not that bad! Just wondering since I did not see it. I thought it was rated PG13.

It is PG-13, which is a suprise to me. There are creatures eating on humans, or something in one shot. I could see how your son would be frightened. It was very suspenseful and scary in some scenes.

Then again, movie ratings seem to be getting more inappropriate/lax these days. What was a rated R movie years ago, is just a PG or PG-13 movie now days.

here is a web-site for parents on the subject. I linked it to I am Legend.

It is PG-13. However, after watching the movie, it looks more of "R" rated because they have some blood, humans flesh eating, etc. Too scary for kids to be watching it.

My son 12 watched it and it frightened him enough to sleep on my bedroom floor that night. I thought it was rated PG13.

13 is older than 12 and the PG stands for parental guidance.

When I watch stuff like that with my son, I laugh and joke about the effects while we're watching. It prevents him from taking it seriously and reminds him it's only pretend

He plays Halo 3 and he has watched other PG13 movies before, just in the last couple of yrs. He is almost 13yrs old. Some of his buddies have watched the movie and they seemed OK, but I guess when you are 12yrs old you are not going to fess up to sleeping on your mom and dad's bedroom floor because the movie freaked you out a little. He is back in his room after only that night and has not talked about the movie since. I think if his room was not so far away from ours ( in the basement, which is the family room, with kitchenette, where we spend a lot of our time, our large screen tv is in the family room/game room, etc, not a dark, damp, basement.)And if he had not watched it right before going to bed, finished around 11:30pm, maybe it would not have been as bad.

Oh, he watched it with his Dad, maybe that is why Dad said he could sleep on our floor, he knew how freaky the movie was, I am glad I did not watch it.

It was ok, nothing I'd die to see again though. Interesting plot line though, but mediocre overall.
