I am not an azz

Hey - I know her also! She is not all that bad...

2GoodCandles... yes, there are three candles in her avatar, but if you look closely and use your imagination a bit, the bad one is in the middle - giving whoever gave her bad karma the finger!

Maybe that is why she got the Bad Karma! :killingme

You might know her too, but coming from a newb doesn't mean anything.

I'm just sayin

It should be - "You might know her also" - but I digress...

Question - how many posts or time does it take on a board to not be a newb? :bigwhoop:

Just remember - opinions are like a-holes, everyone has one and they all stink

I have probably been around compters longer than you have been out of diapers... go ask Paw (you know who I am talking about) :howdy:

Ok enough

Obviously none of you have anything better to do. It has taken 7 pages of wisecracks and other attacks at me just because someone called me called me an azz. Obviously they have no spine to stand up and take credit for their accusations. All I said is that I am not an azz . I am a nice person and please do not judge me because my avatar has three candles not 2. 2goodcandles is called this because my husband and myself run this biz (thus the 2 good candles). Our son, who is 11, also helps at shows (thus the 3 candles on the logo) now you know my dirty little secret. If you would like to know more about my home biz please feel free to visit my website 2GoodCandles.com. you can also enter to win a free candle.

Unless your experience pre-dates DOS, think again. And, there's a difference between being around computers, using computers, and knowing there ins and outs.

No. Sorry but being called a name by someone who wont even identify thereself is wrong. Atleast they can stand up and take notice. Sorry for being so abrasive but I dont like being called names by someone who wont identify thereself. That is childish to me. Thank you for everyone else who gave me good karma, I really appreciate it. I have heard that the people on this forum are rude and a few more or less run it. Now I know the truth.

Know the difference... we can talk over coffee about that... I take it you are in IT, do you need a job and are leading into something???

But they should sign their name if they leave it... especially with the vulgar profanities! :blushing: I wonder if they kiss their mother with that mouth??? :yikes:

They zing me all the time. Once I thought I had a stalker...

Some of the people in here are part of the special interest groups trying to run me off the Board because I speak up too much...

So you should ask yourself if there's a reason to be zinged... if there is... well you stuck your neck out and idiots will always be there .... if there isn't... then they are idiots and you get to ignor them.:lmao:

Or that's how I look at it anyway... :coffee:

My computer experience does predate DOS :nerd: Ever heard of Morrow Designs? That was our first computer when I was in elementary school. I was writing programs in BASIC at the time.

Yep - kinda pre-dated the Trash-80 - I remember seeing those! I never touched one, but I remember sitting in front of the TRS-80 w/ BASIC remembering "this does not do anything for me" - years later the first computer I worked on for $ was a PDP 11/45, that thing was a monster! man, I miss those DIP switches... kept me busy!

Just looked up the time line and I was about 4 years off on when DOS became popular. I thought it was mid-80's and actually it was '80.

Nope, not in IT and don't need a job. I know enough to do what I like, but not enough to be paid to do it. Ironically, I've spent more time with DOS than a lot of the tech's I've met.

I also happen to remember when PC's became half-affordable and that as a kid I had to use DOS because that's all there was.

You I believe and I'm not suprised. Though, you also aren't the one throwing it out as the basis of an insult.
