Eric VanLustbader wrote a bunch of the Jason Bourne novels after Robert Ludlum died. They are just as entertaining.

On another note has anyone else noticed an increase in mistakes and lack of proof reading in some novels recently ?

Eh, I dont know, I catch maybe one or two per book, same as always, even going back to the 70s when i really started reading. Like hitting a speed bump.....

Someone once told me that once a write makes it big, they just pen the framework to a book and have other writers fill in the rest.

I see them everywhere now. Not a lot but, I remember when it was essentially a scandal if there was even ONE in anything print. The papers, books, etc.
