6 cats

1 chinchilla

1 rat

2 dogs

1 Ferret

1 Scorpion

1 Blue tongued Skink

1 fish

3 Hamsters, 1 black bear, 2 dwarf

2 Cockatiels

I have a large finished basement that is half my animal room and half my bedroom. The animal room part had it's flooring put down by a friend of mine before she moved to NC with her business. The dogs spend most of the day outside as the cats are not too keen on them being indoors! :lmao:

:jet: For a minute I thought you may be the goat lady down the street from me. Can I play with your ferret? I looooove ferrets:biggrin:

Good Lord. I bet your house stinks, but you can't smell it cause you're used to it. I'm not being mean here, but I KNOW ferrets smell and with all the others :barf: I can hardly stand two dogs and a faint odor cause I'm neurotic about washing their bedding, shampooing them and the carpet, etc.

I have had many people in my home including my neurotic mother and no it does not stink. The ferret gets this stuff called bi odor in his water so his feces doesn't stink. Actually all of them do except the chin, scorpion and skink. I also use Fresh Step litter and it works. So you are wrong, and I agree about the dogs, I can bathe my dog and ten minutes later she stinks again. I don't like that smell either but it's not like they can help it.

We had a ferret once. Not for long. They are fun creatures, but get into all sorts of trouble.......I couldn't possibly take care of as many animals as you have. BTW, want a cat?

I like the way my dog smells.. It's warm and comfortable. I think puppies and babies smell good, even if they aren't sparkling clean.

I happen to have a sensitive nose and have been told I could smell something you washed off two days ago.

I've had my nickname for years. It stems from my days when I raised mice and hamsters for the local petshops, and my lizard to eat.

I had 40 ferrets as a kid.:blushing: My Dad was a breeder and my personal ferret was a male Black-Footed that walked on a leash and pooped in a litter box.
