...who doesn't let their animals sleep in the bed with them.

Should I feel bad about this?

You're a LOON :)
I refuse to let mine sleep in my bed. When we first got them my husband tried to put them in our bed.. :nono: that wasn't going to happen, and they are small and my bed is tall so they can't even sneak in my bed

Do they feel bad cause you dont sleep in their bed?
No..so dont feel bad!! ;-)

(in other words..no..dont feel bad..mine sleep in their beds and I sleep in mine.) :buddies:

I don't let my own kids sleep in the bed with me. Well ... unless there are tears ... then it's like a "get out of jail free" card.

Naw! My cat doesn't sleep in my bed. I let him sit on it and snooze if I'm watching TV but when I get ready to go to sleep, I make him leave.

He MEOWS at me for food sometimes an hour before I am supposed to get up and drives me crazy!

I let just about all my cats sleep in bed with me in the winter time but during the summer I put up a gate to keep them all out.

I have a 120 lbs Alaskan Malamute so if she slept on the bed, there'd be no room for either me or my husband.

Nope

Don't feel bad. Pets in bed is a No No.
:buddies:
Just go take a close look at where they lay during the day, uggy.
Love em, but don't sleep with them "in the bed"

Dog never. Cat tries but she usually gets tired of being kicked so she ends up sleeping somewhere else.

I used to kick the critters off the bed, the ex would encourage it.:grrrr: I hated waking up with a face full of hair. The cat finally learned it was not a safe place to sleep. When I roll over in the night, I can be a bit animated. On more than one occasion the cat got launched off the bed halfway across the room.

I am so very blessed
Muttley sleeps under the bed, never on it. :nono:

I'm a fanatic about excellent sheets, and I can't fathom getting them all funk-i-fied with dog hair and odors. No matter how often you wash them, they still smell like dog.

If they'd stay on the blankie at the end of the bed, I'd let them sleep with me. But they get mission creep and before long I have cats wrapped around my head.

I don't let them sleep with me for their own safety. I'll forget they're there and wake up thinking some hideous monster is attacking and they'd end up thrown against a wall.

Does the gate cover your entire doorway?

Dogs..no, not once the weather is warmer because of ticks. Biscuit sleeps on the bed in the winter. I keep up a baby gate but my cats are much more advanced than FeralCatLover's cats and they go over the gate in one bound. They prefer to sleep on their cat tree or other places but every now and then Garthie will sleep on the bed.

Nah - and it's easy to make the dog sleep on the floor but it's hard to keep the cat off the bed - I find myself changing the sheets more often too as I don't like animal fur in my bed ......

I'm the same way with the kids. However...both dogs sleep in our bed every night... I think that pretty much makes me a meanie. I never really thought too much about it, but now, typing it out, sounds pretty bad. Ha!
