I know what you mean about them growing like weeds. My son is 12 and wears men pants 32x30. Well he did last winter. The couple colder days we had this week, I had the pants out for him to wear. He managed to get them on, but they were tight in the stomach. He also wears either medium or large mens shirts. He and hubby can probably start sharing clothes soon.

Believe me, I waited as long as I could.. My son finished summer with three decent pairs of shorts and NO pants. The sale at Penney's was so good I jumped on it.

They've been washed and worn once or twice. I doubt Penney's will take them back. I'd post an ad to sell 'em but it's almost rediculous considering all 5 pair only cost me about 40 dollars.

For school uniforms, Salvation Army and "The Waldorf Thrift Store" both have a good selection.

We think boy is about to have a growth spurt. He's eating like a horse, and still pencil thin.

If you need clothes or have some to give Freecycle for So. MD is great. I have given away stuff and gotten stuff. Some very nice stuff. Also, ebay is good to buy in lots and we get name brand aeropostle, old navy, hollister, etc. for really good prices. My daughter gets comments on her clothing and is aware of what she gets if we buy this way versus the mall. Sorta an education in money management. By the way, she is 11, 5'4", 117 lbs. and wears a womens size 11 cleat. I have a 17 yr. old son who is 6'4", 230 size 14/15 shoe. I know how expensive it can be!! In todays tough economic times we owe it to them to show how we can all help each other out. Good luck.

Tell him to STFU. But just so you know, Rec and Parks only charges $50 for registration for most of their sports. I am Mom and Dad and I work 3 ####ing jobs now and I still put Jacob in soccer this year. I am so glad that I did it. He's having a blast but he already thinks he has a girlfriend. :ohwell:

Well, with work, my house and my family, plus the boyfriend and my friends, I have NO time for anything..

I don't even drink anymore. I never go out, but that's mostly due to lack of interest.


I keep thinking to myself that if I stick it out a little longer, I will be in a better position to get my CS increased, thereby bettering my position. He doesn't get that I could have taken him back for more CS two years ago.

I was insulted that he said that but does nothing with his son at all.:tantrum:

Here is some sand in the ex's eyes...put Bebop in ball and invite the bf to go. That kills 2 birds with one stone. Bebop gets to have fun and you'll get time with the bf. :shrug:

If you still have the 3T clothes I am interested in both. Also I am having a yardsale Saturday lots of different sized clothe for girls, boys, men and woman. Just PM me and I will give address, I selling clothes by the grocery bags for 1.00.

I know how everyone feels. I'm lucky that my daughter is in uniforms and at that point its just blue shorts or blue pants. Then the shirts we got handed down to us. But shoes I just bought her a pair before school and she outgrew them. I found a pair at the Thrift Store with the tags still on them and she is barely fitting them. Jeeze I don't know what I'm going to do.
