I hope I'm translating wrong and that for both of you he receives something. My son gets SSI disability at a little over $700 a month. He can't support himself on that, he is incapable of living on his own, and the money he receives certainly helps support him but I still provide well over 50%, It seems odd to me that he's not eligible but again I'm appreciative that we got anything. Maybe it balances out with me being able to claim him as a dependent or something. Who knows? The government moves in mysterious ways.

Exact same boat. 26 year old daughter gets SSI disability, lives with us and is totally dependent on us. We claim her on our taxes so none of us get the stimulus for her.

This is our experience. Our bank account was hacked 6 months ago. M&T was on top of it and cancelled our 20+ year old account and started a new one. In the meantime, the new account was not filed with the IRS because of the filing extension. The first attempt to deposit the help check was on 4/15 and rejected. Now it shows that a second attempt will be made on the 24th, and then it will be mailed. I don’t get the try again thing. And, I will be surprised if we ever get the check(s). If we do, we are donating them to charity. God bless US all.
