I would do that except she doesnt get off work until 430, 3 hours here and 3 back puts them home at 1130-12. If I take him he gets dropped off at 7. Makes it easier on him.

This morning was particularly fun. first I woke up at 6:30, no alarm, hmmmmm well I get up and take my shower, call him in for his shower and he is grumping about my "radio" being on all night and that because of that he got no sleep. I ask his WTH he is talking about. He says my radio was on all night and that he came in and "turned it off" while I was sleeping. What happened was my alarm radio went off and it made him mad so he came in and turned it off before I was consious. He was scolding me about leaving my radio on all night when in fact it came on at 5:30 and he just thought it was the middle of the night.

Then we are practising spelling words for the last test of the year. Being a goofball I was spelling s-p-e-c-i-a-l while mimicking a dance form the movie "Stripes". He thought it was funny until I dropped him off at daycare and started doing it on the sidewalk leading to the door. He about had a cow. DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD STOP IT, SOMEONE WILL SEE YOU. Once inside I made him spell the words and told him if he spelled one word wrong I was going to do the "Stripes" Boom chaca laca dance throught the daycare and all the way to the truck.

He got them all correct. :killingme

Hard to tell. It is like 2 different worlds and he has coped pretty good so far. I suspect as he gets older instead of conforming to the 2 different styles, mine (structure) and hers (free for all) he will begin to question. I tink I have more will power than he does though.

This seems to be the way is it for some divorced families and to this day I don't understand why they do that. My cousin's ex-dipshiat doesn't make there son do anything while he has him. He lets him sleep in, play his games, do whatever he wants and when he goes back to Mom, she has chores for him to do. Well he tells my grandma he doesn't want to go back to Mom's, he wants to stay at Dad's. Well my grandma thinks it's because she and her new husband are being mean to him. Just kills me when I hear about this. I want to take the ex-dipshiat by the neck and ring the every living crap outta him.
