Pretty much what they are :shrug:
Take a truck, raise the center of gravity with a big pretty body, add lots of luxrury crap and bling and you've got an SUV

OOH, and add a lot of weight.. makes it seem like it has a better ride..

The WORST is the H2 and H3.. neither have anything in common with the Hummer besides the price tag, both are built on common truck chasis' and people are continually getting sucked into buying them. Get into an accident with one and you'll REALLY know what you bought.. They fold up as bad as a Neon.. or an SRT4...

Prior to my current vehicle, I owned a Suburu Outback and I totally loved it. Like you, I bought it used, and it was a terrific car. Inexpensive to buy, and inexpensive to operate. As much as I love my current SUV, I wish I had stuck with the Outback.

I was referring to the HUMMER2/3 folding up like a neon.. the subaru's are built like mini tanks and will last forever, and probably more survivable in a crash then most SUV's

or did you take umbrage with the Neon/SRT4 crumpling?

There's a couple of minor problems, the radio sucks, have a CD/MP3 reciever and a couple of new speakers on order from Crutchfield, and the door sensor on the front passenger door is stuck, says the door is open. Figure I'll clean the switch when I have the panel off to put the new speaker in.

I've never seen an SRT4 crumple so I was interested to see one. I opted for a used Subaru myself for the comming winter. The SRT was fast as could be but even front wheel drive very little traction.
