Crock-Pot Manly Meatloaf

Prep time: 10 mins
Cook time: 8 hours
Total time: 8 hours 10 mins
Serves: 12

Get out the big crock-pot for this recipe! I used a 7 quart crock-pot myself. I like to do a glaze on top of my meatloaf….to make just combine ½ cup ketchup and ¼ cup brown sugar and spread over the meatloaf before cooking.

Ingredients
5 Lbs. Lean Ground Beef
4 Eggs, Beaten
2 Package Of Stuffing Mix (such as Stove Top Brand)
3 Cloves Of Garlic
1 Teaspoon Liquid Smoke
¼ Cup Mustard
¼ Cup Ketchup
1 Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
1 Teaspoon Dried Oregano
1 Teaspoon Dried Rosemary
1 Cup Water

Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a bowl until well combined.
Dump meat mixture into crock-pot and pat down evenly.
If using glaze, glaze your meatloaf with ketchup and brown sugar mixture.
Cover crock-pot with lid and cook on low for 6-8 hours.

Notes

Serve with your favorite side dishes. We enjoyed this with mashed potatoes and corn. Make meatloaf sandwiches or freeze leftovers for an extra meal or two.

:jet: Thank you for the recipe. Now I have one more way to feed my tribe. They all like meatloaf and it is one of the very few things that we all agree on.

What?!
I have chicken breasts marinating in some herb and garlic stuff. No clue what I'm going to do with it. Grill it. Bake it. Let it marinate for another day and take the boys out to dinner

Pop-Tarts have a Pumpkin flavor... they're pretty tasty...
I LOVE those things! Last year I had to put them in a rarely used kitchen cabinet so that whenever I looked in there it was like "Surprise! You have pumpkin pie pop tarts!" Dairy Queen also has a pumpkin pie blizzard. :yum:

Throwing the deuces
husband has class tonight. It is just me and the kids. :ohwell: I promised the older one we would have corn-dogs and french fries. :dead:

Since both my boys had soccer practice last night, I decided to make corn dogs but l gave them broccoli too so I could say that it was at least half-way healthy. My boys love broccoli so that's a bonus.

If anyone is wondering, the coconut chicken was awesome and really easy to make.

3 boneles, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
It's Shake 'n Bake for chicken
1 cup of coconut flakes
1/4 tsp of curry powder
1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper
1 egg

mix the coconut, shake n bake and spices together, dip the chicken in the egg, roll
it in the shake n bake mix and bake like you normally would. I always put the dry stuff in a zip
lock bag, makes it much easier.

The dip is 1/4 cup of mayo and a tbs of mango chutney.

My daughter the picky eater loved it, hard to find things she likes.

I made them eat green beans before they got french fries.
