My boy has the T-Shirt and wore it to Hooters last time we went.

I guess my daughters middle school must be the only one in Calvert County that lets them wear them. I just asked her tonight and she said they were still allowed to wear them. I don't mind her wearing it. She bought it, I am sure part of the appeal is that it says the word "boobies" and that is a bad word, but at the end of the day she spent some of her own money, some of it was donated to cancer research and it is not hurting anyone.
They hear and see ALOT worse in middle school these days. If the worst thing my kiddo is doing, and the biggest thing I have to worry about, is her wearing a bracelet that says "boobies" on it I am ok with that....
FYI- men.. OLD AND YOUNG BOYS are looking at your daughters "boobies" everytime she wears that shirt....
So would you wear a shirt that said "I love Boobies" to work in an office and let your boss read it?
You missed a previous post I wrote "not in the office for the shirt, but a bracelet yes. Actuallty I take that back, depends on what type of office setting you work in.

shes drawing attention to them in a shirt that say BOOBIES...shes not if shes wearing a potato sack but if youre cool with people staring at your boobs that way.. thats cool with me.
Once again I am thrilled that my children are adults and I do not have to deal with our crass culture that objectifies women and is obsessed with sex. So much so that we insist on our children taking part in vulgar behavior.

I think clothing has always been designed to show off a woman's body. It's never been more obvious then how they conveniently place phrases across particular areas. "Boobies" written on a shirt right across a women's breasts. "Pink" or "Bootylicious" written on the @$$ of sweatpants. Low cut blouses to show off ample cleavage. Short mini skirts to show off legs. High heels to accent the @$$ and tone in the legs.
Just a few examples. As a guy, I love seeing women show off their assets.
But I hate it when I see a girl wearing these. 18+ please only. Unfortunately our society pushes it on them and it's readily accessible to the young teen girls out there. I think it's not right for the them to be showing off at that age and parents should try to condone it if possible. Hell, I would never have graduated high school if the girls back then dressed like they do today. 
So I'm a big supporter of any women that wish to wear these fun articles of clothing (when appropriate of course). And if it's for a good cause - then even better. But let's keep the minors out of the suggestive clothing area.

Comprehension is your friend. It is not a shirt, it is a bracelet. By the time OLD and YOUNG boys as you put it have looked at my daughter hard enough to read what her bracelet says, they have made it way passed her boobies...sad, but true.
No, I am not OK with people staring or looking at my 12 year olds boobies honestly I have never given the little bracelets that much thought....

I haven't given the bracelets much thought either. It's not a big deal to me. My kids know what they represent and they do care, they have lost someone to cancer and it is important to them.
This program is to educate young people on breast cancer and if it takes saying "boobies" to get them to listen and pay attention then so be it. Even if they are not all wearing them for the right reasons they are still talking about it and getting something from it.

Both my children wear them and have been for several months. They both understand what breast cancer is and how it has taken the lives of a few people close to us. In a world full of things to be offended by... this just isn't one of them, IMO.
