Wenchy, the Bisto Black Bean Soup is not a Pampered Chef product....it is a Tastefully Simple product.

I have purchased Tastefully Simply stuff from lovinmaryland. You may want to contact her to see if she can get you the low-down on ordering it for you.

No slam to Lovin, but I don't get the Tastefully Simple stuff (and yes, I went to a party and bought some products to see what it was all about). All it is, is a bunch of mixes and spices. I guess it's a short cut for the most part. I do most of my stuff from scratch and add my own spices, etc. so I find it silly to pay a lot of money for one small container of a special blend of spices, etc.

It is, and I can't believe I spent $9.95 on pumpkin butter at Williams Sonoma the other day. :banghead:
That WS Pumpking Butter is freakin' awesome!

I have two jars of it in my pantry, and I can't wait to crack up a jar of it soon. Fresh biscuits out of the oven smeared with that pumpkin butter = to die for. :yum:

WS also carries the absolute best malted waffle mix (Cabot's, I think). No other mix compares to it, not even homemade (sorry, Catt).

It sure is! I made some dessert bars with it on Sunday. OMG they were good!!! I've got another jar of it, and I'm thinking about making the dessert bars for Thanksgiving. I'll be at Annapolis Mall for Black Friday shopping, and I plan on stocking up on the pumpkin butter while I'm there. :cartwheel

I don't think anyone really cares whether you get a GodPot or not. I know that I absolutely love mine, and wish I'd have had it when I had kids at home.
 We are all being silly. :killingme

Maybe you can let me borrow it and see if a roast is better than in the crock. If it is, I will get one.

A P.S. Tastefully Simple no longer sells the Black Bean Soup. It was better than anything I could ever make. :ohwell:

Just how long do you have to microwave it to get the roast well-done with no pink in the middle...

:yeahthat:

A roast needs to be RED in the middle, and leave a puddle of blood on the serving plate when you cut into it. (llike an English Cut Prime Rib) YUMMMM!!

We are talking about pot roast, not prime rib, steak or a hamburger. :wench:

Pot roast is the only beef I want well done. Falling apart tender and the savory (not bloody) juices melding with the carrots, taters, onions, etc.

The latter should be red, and cold, in the middle. JMO.

Are you talking about the taters? I don't think this sounds good.
