Might be more than boredom...you givin' him a good smack when you burp him?
Yep. He really is a great child, and rarely cries unless there is reason to do so, i.e., diaper change needed, he's hungry, or he needs burping. I've just been really busy this morning, and haven't been carrying him or snuggling with him as I usually do. I am trying to not give him CONSTANT attention this week, as I need for him to get used to some separation as I return to work in a week and a half. It is going to be difficult to leave him in the mornings. I never really and fully understood how difficult it is for working women to leave their children behind.

I would tell you about the first day I left Boy at the daycare, but I am too manly.

With the first one I cried all the way to work and only lasted 2.5 hours before I went back for him. I took over a week to leave him for a whole day.
I was lucky to keep the same babysitter from the time my first one was 6 weeks old until my youngest was age 5. That's 10 years. They're family now.

How about putting them on the bus that first time. I cried and cried.

Crisis is over, at least temporarily. He's now in a deep sleep after exhausting himself with his crying. The poor sweet child.

Now maybe, just maybe, I can squeeze in a shower.

It's a BMW beebee swing isn't it? Tons of plastic covers and when you finally get to the battery it has to be bought from a BMW dealer and costs $1,000?
Since it doesn't work it's probably the Harley baby swing. Does it have a lot of chrome, make a lot of noise and doesn't go very fast?
