Chaps are stylin' but not really more than a wind break. Getting out of the cruiser mode opened up a new world of riding gear. Love the First Gear overpants. Easy off and on, padding (or armor) in the hips and knees and a removable thinsulate liner for cold days. Liner will probably go in next week  High's are supposed to only be in the low 40's.

I am NOT wearing anything with padding in the hips. :lmao:

The FBI is looking for Farsi speakers...There was a report in the Post a few weeks ago about the lack of Farsi & Arabic speakers in all the alphabet agencies.
Well, she was here in Columbia for the longest time, she worked for the NSA (attached from the Navy) as a Russian Linguist, got time to re-enlist and said, "OK, if I get to learn a different language".. Russia was kind of a dead-end carreer language unless she wanted to spend her entire career here in the DC area.

She picked Farsi for two reasons.. one, she thought she would be able to get forward deployed instead of sitting behind a desk, either on EP-3 or on the ground as an interpreter 2) it's our family heritage, kind of a connection back to our family roots.

I asked how hard it was to learn a third language.. she's said it's kind of strange, not hard, just strange.. She actually hears English, thinks in Russian, then translates into Farsi.. One test she took she forgot the last step, and did the entire test in Russian.

Now she has 4 or 5 more years on contract with the Navy, but I would guess any "alphabet" agaency would gobble her up.
