At the plant in Philly, it's right on the Del. River which is the flight path for the longest runway at Philly International. On 9/11 when they ordered all planes to land, it was pretty busy, and somewhat nerve racking for us being so close, and us also being a defense contractor... needless to say, there were a few hysterical people that thought for sure they were not going to live to see tomorrow.
one of those hystericals, was my co-worker, Eddy, a 300lb italian with a fake new york accent when he got angry. Well, the trash company dropped one of their 40 cube bins outside to pick up the full one...with a VERY loud BOOOOOM!!! that rattled our steel warehouse building like nothing I've ever heard before.
I truly thought we lost Eddy that day. Never in my life have I seen anybody turn that white on their way up to the ceiling before.

They have no effect on me.. live life day by day... and enjoy it!!! Feel sorry for the victims of the attack, but you can't let it effect you or how you live your life....
That is what they want you to do, to make changes.. leave the cities.. quit jobs.. etc.. but they will never target you individually, so why worry!?

I'm only about a block down from you and havn't noticed anything other than the usual scare stuff here and there, cute doggies and people with machine guns :shrug: It'll be ok HappyAppy, you grow a tolerance to these kind of "drills"... It'll be alright
