Which ones do you have? I bought a pair last year.
v These ones v. Larry got them for me the first Christmas we were dating. My comment upon opening them was, "Appropriate name." But I wear them all winter long and they're the warmest, most comfortable boots I've ever owned.

My mom told me that we were going to have a huge smow season because the acorns and oak leaves are huge this year. Any truth to this?

I heard that we're in for a nasty winter as well - due to the acorns - from someone I ran into last weekend... I don't know why I didn't ask him what that meant...

Not only are Calvert County bugs huge but so are the acorns! Can they be dried out or something to be used as decorations? Really. They'd be great to add into my mini pumpkin hurricane.

He de-shells them before he eats them - so the other end is safe for now

I had a dog who would very daintily deshell peanuts and eat them. From what I see from a quick search, acorns appear to be not toxic to dogs.
