Have an LG Dare. Nice phone I guess, but the little pa Thx.dllcock keeps coming on, even during calls. So, not only do I have to stop to look at a pic or whatever, but I have to unlock it. Any way around this?

Assuming Verizon? If you don't get a simple answer here, stop in the Verizon store.

I've had a Dare for about two years..I'm not sure what you're talking about? The screen lock?

If you are talking about the screen lock feature...

go to Settings & Tools...then Touch Settings...to Auto Lock..turn it off. But then you can randomly call anyone with your butt, fingers, etc. because of the touch screen.

I used to do that all the time with one phone I had. Everytime I sat down it would dial out...

No I don't wan't it turned off, I just don't want it to come on while I am using it.

You're not accidentally turning it on...I have the same phone, and it does the same thing to me ALL THE TIME. Very frustrating. I've had it sitting in front of me on speaker while talking, and it locks w/o me touching it.
But I asked Verizon about it, and they said it's just their "safety feature" so that you don't call China or someone you don't know unintentionally.
