I just made CD's the other day of the pictures and checked the 1st CD - worked fine so ASSumed the next 5 CD's were fine too? Nope blank - then I realize that the software I used to write the files (old) deleted the files and I had done a MOVE not a COPY to the software directory - may now need help to recover the 3 GB of pictures I seem to have deleted? OMG I could just scream!

Tried a program called Digital Image Recovery, worked pretty good to recover deleted pictures from the memory card itself, will work on any drive system but will take forever on large disk drives, cant remember where but it was freeware

I was fortunate that another PC was able to read the CD's - I was thrilled and it taught me quite a lesson in the process !
