My fiance & I are getting married. Planned on doing it the day after Christmas at the courthouse, but (just my luck), they may not be conducting any ceremonies because it "might" be a furlow day (gov't hasn't decided yet).
All 6 of our kids will be here for Christmas, so it's a perfect day to do it.
The clerk's office said they can give me a list of officiants to call to see if they can do it. I have NO idea where we could do it, if that's the route we're going to take.
Any ideas? Something CHEAP and simple. Thanks

There are churches, but honestly, neither one of us really want to go that route. I don't want flowers, candles, all the typical wedding stuff. Something very VERY simple, casual and quick.

What are you planning on getting me for a present? The first year gift is paper (traditional) or clocks (modern).

I'd settle for an old clock that has had it's timekeeping mechanism removed, and in the cavity, you can fill it with lots of $100 bills.
