We're in Hollywood

I also live in Hollywood....I hope you check out the info I sent you....
I don't believe it will cost you very much for my Pastor to marry you, the church is beautiful so you would only need to show up, have a wedding, and be married most likely within a few minutes....if you wanted pictures to be taken of you and your family, they would turn out awesome and look beautiful from inside the church...

Definately. I will call your Pastor.
You were very helpful and it's a great idea.
Thanks again

You could do it at Mary's Hope for $600 and it is soo pretty that's where we are getting married next year. It's on a cove of water so you could have water pics...and pics on there pier, or since it is December and may be cold...you can do it inside the house which is pretty too...they decorate for xmas and have a room with a fireplace where you could get married! I would strongly suggest checking it out! ...here are some pics I personally took...

Beautiful pictures! Ive been married for almost 10 years. My husband was military and we wanted something nice but quick. We got married the day before Easter so the church we used allowed us to use there flowers, which was very generous of them. We had the reception at my parents house and my mom made everything look beautiful! Aw, the memories! Good luck and just remember the wedding is only one day, but the marriage is a lifetime!

The day after Christmas?? Ooh, might be kinda hard. How many people will be there?

...yeah. Put it off. Way off. Like mid-late January to late February, so that it doesn't get all jumbled into the end of year holidays. You'll always have an excuse to go someplace warm for the anniversary when it's cold and wet and dreary around here.

Our one year anniversary is coming up soon.

What are you planning on getting me for a present? The first year gift is paper (traditional) or clocks (modern).

I'd settle for an old clock that has had it's timekeeping mechanism removed, and in the cavity, you can fill it with lots of $100 bills. :yay:

paper and clocks..

how about a picture of an anitique clock?

Or a clock manufactured the year you were born?

Figure a clock that old would be worth a FORTUNE.. of course we'd probably need a sextant and a crumpass in order to align it right to the sun.

nice idea, BUT.... it's been 2 years since we've had all our kids together in one place at the same time. We're taking full advantage of it at Christmas time.

OH, I just thought of this ...Grenwell State Park in St. Mary's has a mansion you can rent - I think you can do hourly rentals...fairly affordable. Maybe check that out?

My fiance & I are getting married. Planned on doing it the day after Christmas at the courthouse, but (just my luck), they may not be conducting any ceremonies because it "might" be a furlow day (gov't hasn't decided yet).
All 6 of our kids will be here for Christmas, so it's a perfect day to do it.
The clerk's office said they can give me a list of officiants to call to see if they can do it. I have NO idea where we could do it, if that's the route we're going to take.
Any ideas? Something CHEAP and simple. Thanks

have a relative get ordained online. its great, legal, and most of all makes it special.

Not sure how long your children will be in town but what about doing it New Year's Eve? That way you could ring in the new year w/ a new marriage?? :buddies:
