...and??? Don't tell me you are on forestals side that people like the guy in Texas and now Shawn are in the wrong for taking it to the bad guys?!

What on earth does the guy in TX have to do with a violent felon owning a gun?????

....absolutely!

If I kill someone and get 20 years, pay my dues, why in the hell should I not be allowed to defend myself when I get out?????????????????

...away the vote is one thing. Saying you can't carry in public is one thing. Saying you can't go in bars or use drugs or being on probabtion is one thing.

Saying you can not have a firearm in your own home is insane.

I disagree. There are consequences for our behavior. If you use a weapon irresponsibly and get popped for it, one of the consequences is that you may no longer legally own a gun.

I fail to see why that is so outrageous.

...I get it! You're just trying to be funny. Ha ha...

If you're not;

Texas man BLOWS away criminals ribbing a neighbors house.

Taylor, with NO criminal record, goes after two criminals who robbed HIM. He doesn't even shoot them.

Does that help?

...fine,

So, Shawn can't own a weapon. And he, it seems, did not have one.

Now, he is on a slab. Why the heck can't he have a gun in his own home?

Not really. The guy in TX actually caught the burglars in the act. Taylor just suspected the guy of stealing his ATV.

And the guy in TX acted right away, while the crime was occurring. He didn't wait, then go after the burglars later.

First off no murderer should ever be released but if you have paid your "debt to society" all your rights should be restored.

Problem is, recidivism is more common than not, and what if the judge that sentenced said convict was easy on him or he plea bargained?

But yeah, even so, a criminal would find a way to obtain a gun outside the law.

Was Taylor still on probation from the other incident? Or was that over with?
