I'm gonna throw a brick into the TV!
It's been two minutes, what did the TV do when the brick hit it??AndyMarquisLIVE said:I'm gonna throw a brick into the TV!

But the ONLY way you'll know a candidate's past record and history is if his opponent points it out. That gives you something to Google and find out if that's the whole truth or if it's been spun a bit.
But it still gives you something to look up.SamSpade said:Pretty sure I have never seen a negative ad that WASN'T full of spin and distortion. At least with commercials, they put disclaimers at the bottom - in political spots, you're lucky to get a reference.

In fact I do subscribe to the mailing list, and if you think Factcheck is non-partisan, you are nutty in your head. They frequently engage in bias, pick and choose the issues they'll highlight, make hay out of something rather benign while downplaying something that should raise more eyebrows.Kerad said:If you want to wade thru the BS of the campaign ads, I suggest www.factcheck.org . It's non-partisan, non-profit, and does not accept funding from any of the "interested parties".
They weed thru the BS of both parties. Subscribe to the mailing list.

I'm sorry - I don't think I mentioned *which* way I think they're biased.AndyMarquisLIVE said:Here we go again ... Everyone's out to get George Bush and only the right-wingers are nonpartisan and fair and honest and.......

Of course! I should've known you would be the one to accuse factcheck of having a bias.
So...lemme guess. Where they find inaccuracies with the Democrats...they're spot on. However, the finding of inaccuracies in relation to the Republican party...well, that's just their libereal bias. Right!?!?
That was excellent, Vrai...thank you. I needed a good laugh.

Would you care to tell me?
So, in other words, you associate bias and partisanship with the Left.AndyMarquisLIVE said:Ahahahahahahaha here we go again. Whenever a right-winger accuses someone of being biased, it's just the typical "It's not fair and balanced like FOX News is."

Interesting.
Where did I do that?AndyMarquisLIVE said:I don't understand how you neocons can call every news source in the world hardcore left or liberal except FOX.
