They call me ... Sarcasmo
IIRC (and I do) I offered my place for a rump rest when you guys did the Coltons Point ride. I guess itsbob and BadGirl remember how to get to my place.

It's about 120 miles to heaven (Frederick County). If you guys are ever feeling really up to it, I will gladly take you on a tour of some of the best up and down and sideways and gorgeous views there is.

It would have to be an over nighter unless you guys are looking for some serious iron butt.

I am spoiled rotten up here. Just awesome roads I'd love to show you.

Went with two other guys over the weekend and did 444 miles...leaving Leondardtown and ending up in Lexington, VA...using almost all back roads and as many twisties as we could find. Riding the Blue Ridge Parkway was beautiful. Ended up being a 12 hour journey, but absolutely worth every second of it.

Awesome!!!!

On long rides, I eat light and drink lots of water. I did a 500 mile ride last summer and would have kept going but, I was at my destination. It was amazing how fresh I was at the end and part of it was I didn't spend one mile on an interstate. Original plan was to make it two days. The more I went, the more I wanted to go.

Doing an official 1000 mile Iron Butt in June. Depart SOMD and head to I-70 for a trip to ~ Dayton, OH and back.

Hope you get to do rt 50 West from Winchester all the way to Parkersburg, West by Gawd.

Only have a couple 100 miles under me in OH so, I think the fun stops once you get into the Buckeye (old Indian word for 'flat road') state.

That. Was always the most hateful stretch on one of my many round trips to Lafayette, Indiana. Only did the trip on two wheels once...a miserable one it was too, since it was chilly and raining the entire time. And I was on an RD400 with a full faring. (conjure up image of the crazy little eyetalian guy on the 2-stroke racing bike in the movie "Cannonball Run".)
