would you rather have...

a 60" top of the line plasma tv

OR

a top of the line washer/dryer set and a 13" tv

*Remember, you can only have 1 -- none of that "I'll just buy the other later..." Seriously, this question proves what kinds of priorities you have...and the results are interesting.

And I choose the washer/dryer set because I'd rather have convenience of laundry right at home whenever I feel like it.

It's actually hard to answer that in a way that reflects my real priorities. It happens that I have a fairly new top-of-the-line washer and dryer set. If it were not so, I'd probably be more interested in a washer and dryer than a 60" plasma TV.

I also have a fairly new TV with a screen large enough for us to enjoy, and don't have a place in the house where the 60" TV would fit (our stereo and stuff are integrated with the TV in an entertainment center).

I chose the washer/dryer set because that reflects the practical attitude that my wife and I have about such things.

A Sony 50" goes for about $7K. Could you actually spend that much on a washer/dryer? The thought that someone without clothes washing capibilities would consider spending that much on a TV is kind of crazy.

Personally, I do not like the way plasma televisons look, the picture or the style or one that big. I have a fairly new washer and dryer and 2 t.v.'s so I can't pick either choice.

But I'd rather have a projection screen. The picture is better and you can get bigger ones for less money.

I really hate cleaning anymore... to include, but not limited to, doing laundry.. I really like watching movies.. With that said, in hopes of gaining balance in my life, I chose the washer/dryer... I'm fine with the TVs I have now.. The 13" can go in the laundry room (hahaha) and maybe having something new to play with will restimulate my domestic gene.

I know how to do it all... just lost the inspiration... Hope could come in the form of a new gadget!! :cartwheel :cartwheel

My sister has a projection t.v. with the screen under a valance on her front window. They discovered that in winter they could project the Super Bowl on the snowy front lawn and have interactive t.v...I'd love to see my 2 yr. old great niece tackle T.O.. :lmao: :lmao:

it doesn't matter if you already have a tv, or already have a washer/dryer.......this question was meant to ask whether you'd value convenience of laundry, or big screen tv.......

Give me the washer and dryer baby! With 2 little ones I'm constantly doing laundry and have no time for tv anyway. I don't mind doing to laundry it's folding it that I hate.

I chose the washer/dryer. The washer we have now does an Irish jig everytime it reaches the spin cycle.

This is America, why should I have to chose? We have the ability to earn/create the wealth necessary to obtain what ever we want. I want a big screen TV and a maid service to do my laundry.

Washer and dryer would be more useful then the tv.
Agree with you pixie, I hate folding laundry!

If 13 inches reached out and grabbed me, I wouldn't mind doing the laundry. :cartwheel
