No. It doesn't belong in here. This thread specifically asked if you could correct the chemical imbalance in the mother with a simple patch resulting in normal sexuality matching the childs sex parts would you do it? This thread is not about designer babies.

That question is no different than them asking if you knew your child would be born mental or physically challenged would you want to know. The answer is simple for me. Things happen for a reason. I would love my child no different.

It was known enough in the 70's that at the crucial moment when either the balls drop and a penis develops or ovaries form and internal female genetailia whether or not enough hormones were present to "push" the development one way or the other.

I have a friend who's mother having made the choice of going hormonally "female" apparently made the wrong decision.

A couple of decades later, the friend had a trans-gender operation and feels as though he is the complete person he should have been all along.

I would not change anything. If I had a gay child, it would not be the end of the world. Theres alot worse things in life. Besides, some of the dearest people Ive know in my life journeys have been gayer than you can imagine. And I loved them all the same. Sometimes we even shared clothes.
