It's kinda weird when I look back at different situations that were affected by my hearing loss... for example the times when a guy would whisper sweet nothings and I couldn't properly respond because I was insecure about my disablity so instead, he took it for indifference...
I ran into a guy at a bar a few months back and he knew exactly who I was (by my maiden name). He remembered me from high school and he proceeded to say how I would drive the guys nuts because I was so 'stuck up'... no one knew I just never heard them say 'hi'....
Think of all the times you could have scored but didn't......damn disable
