I need some help. Trying to replace the wheel studs on my van. I need to remove the hub to get the studs out. Anyone know where I can get this done this weekend? Business or personal. Thanks in advance.
That's the problem, I can't get the hub off of the knuckle. It is pressed in. There is no room to get the studs off with the 2 assembled. If you can get the hub off a punch and hammer should do the trick.

In conjunction with that, heat the hub with a torch, and if you have one, use an impact hammer with a flat tip and pummel the hub, then use the slide hammer.Looks promising.
Gotcha, you did remove the hub bolts from the back right? Reading a bit it seems removing the hub usually means a total hub replacement. Good luck. That's the problem, I can't get the hub off of the knuckle. It is pressed in. There is no room to get the studs off with the 2 assembled.
Have you gotten the five T50 bolts out of the holding the rotor/hub assy off? That's the problem, I can't get the hub off of the knuckle. It is pressed in. There is no room to get the studs off with the 2 assembled.
They are not in the back of that hub.Gotcha, you did remove the hub bolts from the back right? Reading a bit it seems removing the hub usually means a total hub replacement. Good luck.
I assumed (oops?) that he had already done that and it was just being stubborn.Have you gotten the five T50 bolts out of the holding the rotor/hub assy off?

If not you need a 6" T50 to go through the empty between each stud hole to reach them.
If it still doesn't slide off with a few smacks from a soft/deadblow hammer, hit your auto parts store and borrow a slide hammer to bolt to the studs and a few wacks should pop it off.
Kroll is your friend.
Sorry, no bolts holding the hub on, front or back. I guess the Connect version is different. They are not in the back of that hub.
They are reached through the empty holes between each wheel stud.
OK, so the drive axle goes through the hub assy then, have you removed the axle nut? That's a 250, mine is the Connect. My hub is not bolted on.
The only thing that I see to "push" against is the axle. Will that create enough resistance? I tried it yesterday for a quick minute. I did buy the slide hammer today, about 100 hits so far and nothing.OK, so the drive axle goes through the hub assy then, have you removed the axle nut?
If so Kroll is your friend, and borrow a 3 leg puller and pull it off. You should be able to borrow a large puller from auto zone/OReillys to remove it.
Thats what you push against, the threaded shaft of the puller sits in the end of the axle shaft. Most likely you are beating a dead horse, A three arm puller and a impact will make short work of your misery. Thanks everyone for the suggestions, I'm not giving up yet.
