Whoa, chill out there, youngin'. There ARE people here who will legitimately help you, but you have to NOT act like a sniveling child. If someone irritates you, ignore them; coming back as more irritating will not help you. And you are the one who needs help, correct?

I think she said size 7/9 and that's a "junior" size I believe? ... which correlates to a Misses size 8 I believe. In that case let me look in my closet and see what I have. I downsized a LOT when I moved, but I probably still have more clothes that need to find another home (ranges from Wal-Mart, to Macy's).

I agree, more info. on sizes/style would help. Like if you are looking for some lower waist (mid-rise or low) jeans in size 8 I have some you can have, but they are the "skinny" jeans - no relaxed sizes. Oh and how tall are you? I'm only 5' 1" so pants that are the right size for me may not be long enough for you?

Actually young lady, you should grow up. You posted on an internet forum, to random strangers asking for a free hand out. What did you think would happen?

If you are truely in need, Vintage Values is a great place to start. As are yard sales and freecycle. If you can go over to Lusby, Smiles is also very reasonable.

What judgemental people say reflects more on their lives rather then yours, just tell 'em to have a nice day and ignore the rest. Don't take it personally. Some people just don't understand because they have an opinion they don't need to express it. Those people are just sad.
Vintage Values has upped their prices so really I don't find such a good deals. However Hooks and Hangers in Charlotte Hall does have half price days, the next one is Nov 4th. You can get on their email list and they send notices about future sales. The thrift shop over at St Andrews Church has some nice clothes and you can get good prices, most of the women are very nice. If you can get to St. Leonard the trift shop there - SPOT I think it's called had nice things.
A friend of mine dropped off a box of woman's jeans for sewing projects, tomorrow I'll look to see if any are your size and if so I'll pick out the best ones.

May I suggest you visit Vintage Values. You could fill a whole bag of clothes for a few bucks. There is one located right in Lexington Park.

Just another thumbs up for Vintage Values. I have never bought anything there but I have donated lots of clothing along with other items. I have walked through there numerous times and they have quite a selection of clothing. A lot of it looks almost new. It sounds like you are being responsible and are doing a good job of raising your daughter as some people put themselves first and their child(ren) last.

I need to go through my closets & get rid of some stuff soon so please let us know about sizes for tops, inseam lengths for pants (I'm short - 30" inseam on most), do you need t-shirts/sweaters/blouses/jeans/slacks/skirts/dresses or what? Favorite colors? We'd like to help but need more info.

Let the rudeness roll off your back -- some people can't help it and others have been burned by scammers and are reluctant to put themselves in that position again.

There is also Ellys closet this weekend at fair grounds. There was alot of womens clothing in the spring time around those sizes Its consignment and i think tomorrow is 50% off good luck!

"Kill'em with kindness" - you would be surprised how far following that advice will get you.

Tomorrow Elly's Closet sale is 50% many things. There are some great deals for clothes in your size. I bought 3 coats, 3 pairs of shoes, and two purses.

Vintage values has really increased their prices "sky high". I'd say the best bet is to check yard sales many have 1$ a bag sales.

St andrews thrift store has very good deals also. I've found a lot of nice things there.

JC Penny's has a lot of clearance items now for 1.97 each, I found 7 shirts, a skirt and pair of slacks for under $20

Ok first off I do live in md I live in lexington park. I have a rolla number because that's where my dad lives and he pays for my cell phone. Second after paying our rent and buying our daughter everything she needs there's not much left to be spending on clothes. We could but we choose not to so if there's ever an emergency we have money.
