Can anyone give me an idea what daycare providers charge for infant care? TIA.
$150 to $200 a week.
$200-225 is the average now.
I've been calling places off and on since December. This is the average around here for centers and in-home.

Yes and you really should thank your lucky stars you have a great daycare sitution worked out. Because unless you make BANK, three kids under five can run 400-650 per week.
Before Juliet turned 2 I was being quoted $500-600. Now that she's not an infant and Jacob is in school 1/2 day I would be looking at about $400-425.
You must make bank at BOTH jobs!

Good God, that's more than I make a week. I'm going to make calls tomorrow. I'll post the prices I get. Thanks.
Why not get a Nanny that can go to your house? It's cheaper than daycare.
Did I say that is how much I pay? And yes, I do okay. Oh and new MPD.
If I had the space that would be the route I'd go.
Oh, you don't have to get live in Nanny. You can get the one that go to your house everyday. Arrive at 7 am to take care of the kids and leave at 5 pm to go home when you get home.

I have a sitter that comes here every day. It's great.
I payed 160 for my two for years, and I thought that was exspensive. When you consider, rent, utilities, food, gas, clothes and car insurance etc.
I have not had to pay daycare for the last two years thank goodness. I was able to give up job two beacuse of it and we are all much happier for it.
What area are you looking in?Good God, that's more than I make a week. I'm going to make calls tomorrow. I'll post the prices I get. Thanks.
